Advanced Camp
Dutch Acres hosts an advanced camp each summer for students who are currently in our lesson program and who are already trotting. Camps typically start at 8 am and go until 4:30 pm. Advanced camp includes mounted sessions teaching advanced riding skills, ground sessions to deepen equine knowledge, horsemanship sessions to learn more in depth about horse health, and stable management sessions to learn more about horse care and what it takes to run a horse farm! With all of this and more, students who attend advanced camp walk away at the end of the week as better riders with improved horsemanship skills.
